Roller Derby Open Training

Looking for a new exciting way to work out? Making new friends? Get though? Try out Roller Derby! This is a full contact sport on roller skates. Fun? YES! May 10th is our try-out day!
The Rotterdam Death Row Honeys are organizing a roller derby open training for new skaters, referees and non skating officials. Come rock the track with us, make some new friends and we will teach you all you ever wanted to know about roller derby. Afterwards, we'll close the training by having a drink.
In this full-contact sport, the skaters roll on quad skates and kick their opponents butt. We love our referees for keeping the game safe and fair and our non skating officials alike, since they keep the game running by managing penalties and keeping the score.
Everybody is welcome, no experience is needed and no contact until you're ready! This event is 18+, so you know it must be good!
Participation is free! Just send an email to sign up. Gear-rental is €5, and so is buying a mouthguard, but you gain awesomeness. Renting skates and protective gear is possible (please reserve beforehand).
